[ns] Why not split the list?

Hi all,

As an ns user, I am subscribed to this list. The amount of traffic I get is
incredible - I am subscribed to quite a number of ietf working groups, the
ietf list and several others, but no other list comes close.

About 50% of all questions seem to be about compilation problems; why can't
there be a separate list for such questions?

These things are of no concern for folks who want to follow a discussion.
On the other hand, people who contributed a lot to ns would probably watch
the compilation-problems list. On the other hand, they might not notice
compilation questions related to their own modules in all this traffic.

It seems as though splitting the list would be a benefit for both sides.
