[ns] Setting cache properties

hi all,
Thanks for the prompt reply... however i was unable to get information 
regarding this in the given links thereby i am resending this mail...

I have simulated a n/w in which :
How would i
1. detect no. of cache misses
2. set properties of cache (like size etc) , client , server

Also while executing the simulation the log file does not show misses on the
stale cached pages, ie the pages are not re fetched from the server. and the
request page size is always the same, could we change that?
